This week's 52 post is a day late – I was so tired from the Kawaii PH Flea Market that I slept in until late in the afternoon yesterday. And then in the evening I was dragged by Aian to ATC, so I didn't have time to write the post. Anyway, here it is! :)
Things that made me happy recently:
What was the highlight of your week?
To have a better appreciation of life's moments, no matter how mundane, my 365 day challenge for 2017 is to take photos every day of the year, and at the same time write a list of things that have made me happy recently.
- Siomai with toyomansi and lots of chili. I don't like spicy food but siomai with chili is an exception!
- The stray tuxedo cat has been visiting us every day for the past week. He comes by randomly, to ask for food and to be petted. It's so cute! The potential parents I found for him can only meet with us in March, so until then we've been keeping an eye on him. Since it's been super cold these past few days, I left a box for him with my old towel and an old shirt. Sometimes when I go outside I see him sleeping in it. Sooo cute. Parting with him is going to be extremely hard....
- Cats in boxes! Aside from the box I left for the tuxedo cat, I also left the box that our Petcube came in out for the kids. It's super small and can barely fit Mong (our smolest cat!), so it's funny to see all of them trying to fit themselves in it. If I fits, I sits!
- Having cake and ramen. After satisfying our cake cravings, we tried the ramen stall in BFRV Drive out of curiosity. Their ramen was okay. We went there with super low expectations, so we weren't that disappointed. For P70 for a regular sized bowl, it was okay. You get what you pay for. (Just don't try their gyoza though :s)
- I recently went to SM Southmall to buy a couple of things I needed for Saturday. It only took me about 10 minutes to get what I needed, so I looked around a little bit before going back home. I was so surprised to see that there are so many newly-opened shops and cafes. There's Miniso, Bo's Coffee, and even Buku-Buku Kafe! They also changed the displays in Food Street. The last time I was there was in December, back then they had the winter-themed display. Now it's Valentine's-themed! With an Eiffel Tower display! So pretty! I'm glad I got to see it before it gets taken down.
- The Kawaii PH Flea Market was so much fun! I missed my Kawaii PH fam and Seishun Kakumei so much, I'm glad I got to see everyone again! I wasn't able to sell much, so I'm a bit disappointed, but it couldn't be helped because it rained so hard that day. I managed to sell off a few things though, so it's okay! Aian also managed to sell some of his postcards. I think he even made more than I did.. At the end of the event I gave away some pieces that didn't get sold to friends whom I thought might like them. (I also received a few gifts myself heheh.) I'll make a post about the event soon! :)
- Aian and I finished watching The Woman Called Fujiko Mine and Jigen Daisuke's Gravestone over the weekend. SO GOOD. We're still waiting for Goemon's movie to come out so we can watch it. I'm assuming it'll be just as good, if not better.
