A while back I did a short post on Ice Flower Cafe, a.k.a. the reason why I got into the whole bingsu craze in the first place. I said that I'd write a proper post when I get the chance, so here it is – a slightly better one, with lots of pictures!
Ice Flower Snow Falling Korean Dessert Cafe is a Korean dessert cafe in Molito, Alabang. Their main offering is bingsu, but they also serve sandwiches, toast, and drinks like coffee and shakes.
They also have a bunch of Korean snacks available at the counter, but I haven't tried any yet.
The interior of the cafe itself is quite simple, so their many different-colored chairs really stand out. The butterfly chair is super cute, but I'm always too shyshyshy to sit there and take photos // w //
The place has a very cozy feeling to it, I can't quite explain why. Maybe because they were playing songs that I like on the days that I've been there? The first time we went, they were playing chill K-hiphop (Zion T, Primary, Epik High), and the second time they were playing Big Bang!
One thing that sets Ice Flower apart from other bingsu cafes is that they have a snow room, which is basically a room with snow falling from the ceiling (hence the "Snow Falling" in the cafe's name). You can go inside and play with the snow while waiting for your order!
Waiting~
Our orders! We got single orders of three flavors – Aian got Injeolmi (P190), his brother got Chocolate (P220), and I got Black Sesame (P210).
I honestly didn't know what to expect with the black sesame bingsu, as I've never tried anything with black sesame flavor before. I only remember seeing black sesame ice cream on people's Instagrams and reading that they liked it, so I just assumed that a bingsu version would taste as good. I was right! Sooo good, the nutty flavor goes especially well with the sweetness of the azuki beans on top! I might try Green Tea flavor next time, but for now, this is my current favorite bingsu flavor from Ice Flower ♥
Ice Flower Snow Falling Korean Dessert Cafe is located in Molito Lifestyle Center, Madrigal Avenue corner Alabang-Zapote Road, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. You can check their page on Zomato for more info. Definitely check it out if you're in the South!
