Because I still have around five (or ten..?) unread and unfinished books on my shelf at the moment, I wasn't planning on checking out the Manila International Book Fair at all this year. But Aian insisted that we just had to go, because an artbook he's been wanting to get for a long time now was being sold there, so we did. Since I knew a major ACG event was happening during the weekend, I told him that it's probably a good idea to go on Friday instead. We went on Thursday.
These are my only photos from MIBF. We literally just went there to buy Aian's artbooks, and then left. (I didn't want to be tempted by all those books, so..)
We had dinner at Nadai Fujisoba. I had Nikufuji soba! I've never had soba before in my life, so I was curious. It was good, but I think I prefer ramen still. (Also, it's hard to appreciate the food when the service is...........Not Very Good....) We also had drinks at Starbucks to cap off the night, but I don't think anyone wants to see any more photos of those ubiquitous plastic cups, so I'll spare you.
