By now, probably everyone who follows this blog and my SNS already knows how much I looove Canmake. Last June, I was invited to the launch of their newest product, the Airy Fit Cover Foundation*, which I'll be introducing to you all today ♥
I'm not a big fan of powder foundations in general because I prefer my face to look dewy rather than matte, but the Airy Fit Cover Foundation's promise of a dewy, not-powdery finish piqued my interest!

CANMAKE AIRY COVER FIT FOUNDATION
Canmake claims: "Gently covers your skin in an ultra-fine veil of powder that's lighter than air. Provides superb coverage, for a finish that's soft and natural, not thick and heavy. Formulation designed to melt like a mousse, for a velvety-smooth texture. Contains a highly flexible powder that quickly and evenly blends into your skin to provide a flawless finish."I'm not a big fan of powder foundations in general because I prefer my face to look dewy rather than matte, but the Airy Fit Cover Foundation's promise of a dewy, not-powdery finish piqued my interest!
PACKAGING
As with all of Canmake's products, the packaging is suuuper cute! The floral design on the case is so, so pretty – it gives me a bit of a French vibe. It's slightly smaller than my other powder pacts, and comes with a mirror inside. The puff, which comes with the refill, is super soft (like a marshmallow) and fits the case quite nicely.TEXTURE
Just as Canmake claims, the texture is velvety and smooth, like a mousse. If I remember correctly, the secret behind this is that it was formulated using a wet-press method. So while it is a powder (dry), its effect is similar to when applied wet.COLOR
The shade that I have is 01 Light Ochre, which is actually a bit light for me. It's more apparent right after application, but once the powder mixes with my face's natural oils, it blends with my skin quite nicely. My face still looks a bit light in the last photo, but that's only because my face is lighter than the rest of my body (I didn't do any contouring for the photos below). Unfortunately for those with darker skin tones, there is only one other shade available aside from this one, 02 Natural Ochre, which I think is only a shade or two darker than 01. Hopefully Canmake comes out with more options in the future.① Before – no makeup face, only moisturized and primed
② After, right after application – with only one layer of the Airy Cover Fit Foundation
③ After, a few hours after application – with an added layer on dark spots + light eye and lip makeup

COVERAGE
Amazingly, the coverage is quite decent! It's not as full-coverage as my more heavy-duty foundations, but it covered most of my acne scars and evened out my skin tone very nicely. I'd say this is medium coverage, buildable. As you can see in the photos above, it can't hide fresh acne scars or super old dark scars, but it can hide just about everything else, and you can touch up with a concealer. Perfect for everyday use, when it's alright to go out with less than perfect skin.LASTING POWER
Canmake claims that this product stays in place even with sweat and water – this is probably true. That said, it is only sweat and water resistant, not sweat and water proof, so it's best to keep that in mind. I haven't tried wearing this out for a whole day yet, but it usually takes a good 4 to 5 hours before I have to touch up the makeup on my T-zone.PRICE & AVAILABILITY
Right now, the Airy Cover Fit Foundation is being sold as a set—the foundation case, a refill with sponge, and a special limited edition oil-blotting sheets with gold flakes—for just ₱1,140. Also, they're doing a promo at the moment where you can get this set plus their Candy Wrap Lip Gloss for only ₱1,500. Not bad, if you ask me! Canmake is readily available in a lot of local stores, and accepts online orders as well, so residents in the Philippines will have no problems getting this product.FINAL THOUGHTS
Overall, the Airy Cover Fit Foundation is a good choice if you need a lightweight powder foundation that can work for everyday use, yet want something that can hide flaws and imperfections well. To be quite honest, the reason why I don't go for products that claim that they're suitable for everyday use is because I know that it won't give me enough coverage—that's certainly not the case with this. With the coverage alone, I think it's a great product for something with its price point. Plus, it makes my face feel so smooth, like mochi! I can't stop touching my face whenever I use this. Highly recommended by me ☆DISCLAIMER: This product was gifted to me by Canmake Philippines during its launch, but the opinions expressed here are 100% my own.
